Core Values and Initiatives
God-centered: Simply put, God gets the glory not us which is opposite of our man-centered culture. Therefore, we desire to be God-centered in all of our worship to Jesus by the Holy Spirit.
Word-directed: The Bible directs our preaching and teaching, because it is living and active today and able to reach the depths of peoples' hearts. We provide expositional preaching coupled with creativity and sound application.
Gospel-driven: There is no gospel without Jesus. Therefore, every sermon that we preach is redemptive in manner with a biblical and theological framework that preaches Christ. All that we do and say is motivated by the gospel.
Missional-living: We are created to be missional both locally and globally. We desire to be on-mission, realizing that where we live, work and play, God has strategically placed us there to build authentic relationships with those who need Jesus.
Character-based: Without our character effected by the Gospel our efforts to be missional fall short. It is important for us to both know and incarnate the Word in our lives through dependence on the Holy Spirit living as God desires.
Prayer-dependent: Without prayer our efforts are senseless. We strive to be completely dependent on the Father, through Jesus, acknowledging that we are helpless without the Holy Spirit.
Equipping-oriented: Without equipping discipleship ceases to exist. We are intentional about equipping our people to know and live the Gospel in both their private and public lives and discovering the ways God has gifted them to serve His church.
